Do you have a call out charge?
No we only charge for the time that we're actually at your property working.
Are you local?
Yes. YourPlumber is a franchise company, which means local business owners work under the YourPlumber brand, much like many high street brands such as McDonalds, Domino's and Costa. The benefit to you is the reassurance of using an established and respected brand run by people local to you.
How do I know you're reliable?
A large part of our work comes from existing customers, recommendations and referrals. That's because we care what our customers think and your satisfaction is our priority. We ask our customers to provide feedback to an external company on our service. You can read some comments on our Testimonials page, and see that every customer is given the opportunity to provide their thoughts on our service. We know an unhappy will not recommend us or use us again.
What is your hourly rate?
We don't believe hourly rates are in your interest. Why should you pay more if a job runs over? That's why we let you know a fixed cost before starting any work - big or small - so for your peace of mind you know exactly what you'll be paying and no more.
Do I have to wait in all day for an appointment?
No. If we can't provide a fixed time appointment when you book, we can take a mobile number so you can get on with your day. We'll then call you however long before you need to get home to let us in, meaning we'll minimise the disruption on your day.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. Whether it's a leaking tap or a new bathroom installation, we're happy to provide a free, no obligation estimate.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes we do anything from small repairs like dripping taps to installations of bathrooms and heating systems.
Do you do commercial work as well?
Yes we take care of both residential and commercial work.
How quickly can you come out?
Because we are local, we aim to be with every customer the same day, especially if you need us urgently. However for less urgent calls and estimates we always aim to be out within two days.
Do you work out of hours?
Yes we provide a genuine 24hour service and also work Saturdays and Sundays.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. Our workmanship on permanent repairs and installations is guaranteed for 12 months. Manufacturers vary with guarantees on their parts.
Are you qualified?
Yes, we only use qualified plumbers.
Are you Gas Safe Registered?
Not all of our plumbers are, but gas work is only ever carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.
Being on the Gas Safe Register has replaced what you may previously recognise as being Corgi registered.
How can I pay?
We accept cash, cheque, credit or debit card. Some products and services are available on 0% interest free credit.
Are you insured?
Yes we have a minimum of £2m public liability insurance.
